Spectris is a 10 year old appaloosa mare and we came to hear about here when we were contacted by the company Spectris in Egham on the hottest day of the year as she had been left shut in a lorry for 24 hours in their car park.
After bringing her back to the sanctuary we later found out that she was 3 months pregnant at the time. Unfortunately she lost the foal that was still born due to stress. Since then she has been backed again, ridden and has ongoing training to iron out a few issues that have become apparent to us.
Hopefully this stunning mare will go on to have a bright future.
