The War Horse Memorial is a wonderful charity that  pays tribute to the millions of horses, donkeys and mules who dedicated their lives to serving our soldiers during the Great War of 1914-18.  Today  a stunning statue stands in Ascot to represent all that fought for their humans and helped protect our country.  The Animal Purple Poppy Fund was created to personify and play tribute to the crucial role they played and the sacrifice they gave without any choice on their part.  For more information and background of this charity please see their website

We stood alongside many others on 11th November 2018 and showed our respect to this iconic statue.  This was an absolute honour and we hope to do this every year in the future.
