Would you like to sponsor one of our horses and ponies?

Here at Blue Acre we rely fully on donations in order to be able to care for our animals.

Our costs are high and the money we receive goes towards food, vet bills, medication and farrier costs for each of our horses.

If you would like to help care for one of our horses or other animals then please have a look through the pictures below and see who you like the look of. Once you have chosen and set up your regular donation, we will send you a certificate and if you want to meet your sponsored animal, we can even book an appointment for you to come to Blue Acre and meet them.

Once you have decided please click on the Sponsor Now button which will take you to a page explaining how to set it up

Bluff_edited.jpg

Bluff

Bluff is a Welsh Section A gelding, was orphaned on a mountain in Wales. We had a mare who had lost her foal so got in touch with the National Foal Bank & they put us in touch with a horse hospital in Wales. We collected him from  Bristol in a Volvo Estate. Unfortunately, the mare wouldn’t feed him, so we had to bottle feed him every 4 hrs! At 8 months he was struggling to walk but after intense work & physiotherapy he made a full recovery. He has a heart of gold and he adores love and affection.
