Tinker is an 8 year old (gypsy cobb) pony who was found abandoned on someones property at approx 5 months old. He was found with a head collar and a dog collar round his neck and had been left in a field without fresh water and food other than the grass growing in the field.
The owner of the land had left multiple notes on the gate asking the owners to remove him but no one came forward so we went and picked him up and brought him back to the sanctuary.
When he arrived he was quite nervous of people but loved being with our herd of horses.
Again Millie one of our younger volunteers has worked quite closely with him and now loans him from us and rides him regularly.
He is now great around people and fits right in with the rest of the herd.
